So why not go somewhere else, where I can find the number or am maybe passing and can arrange the service then?

It is also very good customer care and helps your reputation. Buyers see that they can carry your contact details around with them whilst they drive their car about and know that if they need you, your contact phone number is attached to the keyring. If there’s a problem with the car, they can easily contact you and maybe it’s then you that arranges the repairs, and the invoice that goes along with it.

The actual keyring doesn’t need to be overly fancy. As long as it is hard wearing as it will be dumped into bags and pockets and needs to last, then the style is very much up to you. The popular torch keyring, whilst not expensive, is an extra gimmick that many buyers will like and think of as a really useful tool to carry around whilst driving. But even the most humble 30 pence printed plastic keyring, with your name and contact phone number printed clearly onto the inset should work most of the time. These don’t look as cheap as they really are and can be used from anywhere from back street used car sales to high end prestige car showroom. Wherever you lie within that range, there’s certainly a printed keyring for you and a market for you to distribute it to.
