Are you Happy With Your Logo and Brand?

Marketing and Advertising No Comments

It seems that most businesses and organizations are unhappy with their logo and brand. They may like their logo but feel as though they don’t carry out the message and overall “look” throughout all of their advertising and marketing materials.
Others are just saying their logo doesn’t represent them at all and their company’s branding efforts are “all over the place” and feel as though it’s affecting sales.
“I hate my logo and people never can tell what our company does!” -From a frustrated employee who wishes to remain anonymous so their boss don’t find out..
We’re currently conducting a survey:

1. Are you happy with your logo and Brand? (What, you feel, works and what doesn’t)
2. If so, who’s logo and brand you think doesn’t send the message and needs help? -or who’s doing a good job of it?

Your opinion matters to us. Let us know what you think.

Network Marketing Lies - The Worst Network Marketing Lies

Marketing and Advertising No Comments

One of the revelations in MLM over the past couple of years was a report called The 7 Great Lies Of Network Marketing. Written by Ann Sieg it literally forced the industry to take a look at it’s recruitment methods and the way people build their business.

The network marketing lies may have not been what the industry needed at the time given it’s reputation for high failure rates but the fact is, something needed to be said and networkers needed to realize that the reason they were struggling may have had nothing to do with the way they were operating their business but more with the system they were being asked to use.

Network marketing is still one of the best home business opportunities available to the average person and when a solid system of attraction marketing is employed to build it then success over the long term can be easily achieved.

7 Great Lies Of Network Marketing

So what are the MLM lies we are talking about? Here are some and see if these are familiar…in other words, can you identify with them?

- anyone can do this business
- we’ll build your business for you
- you don’t have enough belief
- this isn’t sales and we just share products
- everyone is your prospect

Do any of these resonate with you? They should because these are some of the things pitched to prospects before joining a business and the truth is, they have hurt the industry and a strong reason why network marketing is “on the nose” for many people who have tried it.

For example, the biggest of all network marketing lies is undoubtedly “everyone is your prospect.”

This old school tactic has been taught to new prospects since day one and while it may have been pertinent even up to ten years ago, today, with resources such as the internet to attract targeted and genuine prospects, it just doesn’t apply anymore.

It starts with a person making a list and making assumptions about who would be suited to a business opportunity and who needs it. It’s not really businesslike is it and after all, network marketing is a business.

You see, not everyone wants to get into a business. Some will be happy with their lot in life, their job or just lounging around and nothing you say or do will convince them otherwise. And that’s the whole crux of this issue…convincing.

You don’t have to convince someone they need your business opportunity. Once you do that, you’ll be forever going into damage control trying to convince them they should stay committed and success will come.

When you start doing this, it’s no longer a matter of what your prospect wants but what you want and unless someone is genuinely hell bent on doing something, then there’s nothing you can do to change their mind.

It’s one of the greatest multi level marketing lies and believe me, adopting a more realistic attraction marketing based process will get you more results than you could have ever dreamed of.
